使い方

iPhone を「キャプチャ役」、iPad を「表示役」に設定します。
相手の言語（中国語・英語・韓国語）を選びます。どちらの端末で選んでも自動で揃います。
両方で開始ボタンを押して、話しかけます。

オフライン（海外・機内モード）で使う準備

翻訳と音声認識は端末の中で動きますが、最初の一回だけ、言語データのダウンロードが必要です。出発前に、ネットにつながる場所で済ませてください。

いちばん簡単な方法：Wi-Fi につないだ状態で Hair Bridge を開き、相手の言語を選んで開始ボタンを押します。「言語をダウンロードしますか？」と出たら「ダウンロード」を押してください。

設定から入れる方法

iPhone / iPad の翻訳データ：設定 → アプリ → 翻訳 → 言語をダウンロード → 使う言語（中国語・英語・韓国語）と日本語をダウンロード
iPhone / iPad の音声認識：設定 → 一般 → キーボード → 「音声入力」をオン。使う言語のキーボード（日本語、相手の言語）を追加しておく
Mac の翻訳データ：システム設定 → 一般 → 言語と地域 → 「翻訳言語…」→ 使う言語と日本語をダウンロード
Mac の音声認識：システム設定 → キーボード → 「音声入力」をオン → 言語に相手の言語（例：中国語〈普通話・中国大陸〉）を追加

※ OS のバージョンによって項目名が少し違うことがあります。設定の検索欄で「翻訳」「音声入力」と入れると見つかります。

最後の確認：2台を機内モードにし、Wi-Fi と Bluetooth だけオンに戻して会話を試してください。通じれば、ネットのない場所でも使えます。

無料版と Pro

無料版でも、選んだ言語はずっと使えます（言語の切り替えは24時間に1回まで）。Pro（買い切り）では、いつでも何度でも切り替えられます。つながっている2台のどちらかが Pro なら、2台とも Pro として使えます。

よくある質問

2台がつながりません。 両方で Wi-Fi と Bluetooth をオンにし、「ローカルネットワーク」の許可をオンにしてください（設定 > プライバシーとセキュリティ > ローカルネットワーク）。

オフラインで使いたい。 事前にネットにつながった状態で一度起動し、翻訳の言語データをダウンロードしておいてください。

機種変更した。 Pro 画面の「購入を復元」を押してください（同じ Apple ID）。

ご注意：翻訳は自動処理のため、誤訳が起こることがあります。アレルギー・パッチテスト・薬剤など大切な確認は、必ず別の方法でも行ってください。

How to use

Set the iPhone as "Capture" and the iPad as "Display".
Choose the customer's language (Chinese, English or Korean). Either device can change it; the other follows.
Tap Start on both devices and talk.

Recommended setup

Capture (iPhone): connect earphones with a microphone (wireless or wired). The stylist's voice is picked up clearly, and the Japanese translation of the customer's words is heard privately through the earphones.
Display (iPad / Mac): connect an external or clip-on (lavalier) microphone so the customer's voice is captured clearly. Clip it near the customer's chest (for example on the collar of the cutting cape), or place a stand microphone close to the customer (for example in front of the mirror). Place the screen so the customer can read it.
Loud sounds such as a hair dryer make recognition harder; pause the noise before speaking. On a Mac, choose the microphone in System Settings → Sound → Input.

Getting ready for offline use (abroad / airplane mode)

Translation and speech recognition run on the device, but language data must be downloaded once. Do this before you travel, while you have internet access.

Easiest way: while on Wi-Fi, open Hair Bridge, choose the customer's language and tap Start. When asked to download the language, tap Download.

iPhone / iPad translation: Settings → Apps → Translate → Download Languages → download the customer's language and Japanese
iPhone / iPad speech recognition: Settings → General → Keyboard → turn on Dictation, and add keyboards for Japanese and the customer's language
Mac translation: System Settings → General → Language & Region → Translation Languages… → download the languages
Mac speech recognition: System Settings → Keyboard → turn on Dictation → add the customer's language (e.g. Chinese – Mandarin, China mainland)

Final check: put both devices in airplane mode, turn Wi-Fi and Bluetooth back on, and try a conversation.

Free and Pro

The free version keeps your chosen language without limit (the language can be changed once every 24 hours). Pro (one-time purchase) lets you change it at any time. If either connected device has Pro, both can use Pro.

FAQ

The devices don't connect. Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on both, and allow Local Network access in Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network.

Offline use. Open the app once while online so the translation language data can be downloaded.

New device. Tap "Restore Purchases" on the Pro screen (same Apple ID).

Note: Translations are automatic and may contain mistakes. For allergies, patch tests or chemicals, always confirm in another way as well.
